Who is your favorite host?

Filed under: Recommended ideas — bobtheteacher @ 12:49 am

If you have a website, you have to have a host.  I’d love to know which ones members of FreeAdReport.com are using, and what your experiences have been.

I have hosting accounts with GoDaddy, OneWorldHosting, Kiosk, and HostGator.

For GoDaddy, they give a fair amount of space, but their controls are not too user friendly.  Their domain registration prices are the best that I’ve seen, though, so I use my reseller account from them just for that purpose.

I’ve been with OneWorldHosting the longest, but their pricing has not remained competitive.  They do have excellent customer service, though.

I started hosting with Kiosk when I began using Butterfly Marketing, and have found them to be terrific, and recommend them to people with an internet marketing background.  Their president is a marketer himself, and knows what is required of large projects.  FreeAdReport.com and many of my other sites are hosted with Kiosk.  I like that they give you the ability to have multiple domains on the same monthly account.  For someone like me with multiple domains, being able to group them together has saved me a ton of money in monthly fees.  They have a good affiliate program, which is important these days to add to your multiple streams of income.  They pay out residually each month on a portion of your referrals’ purchases.  Kiosk has the most lucrative affiliate program.

But my new favorite — full featured with all the main things a webmaster should need — is HostGator.  Like Kiosk, they allow you to have multiple domains, but they separate themselves by allowing you to have UNLIMITED domains.  So setting up a simple landing page on a domain is pretty easy to do.  They also have an excellent affiliate program — paying you upfront for any new customer.  Instead of waiting for residuals to build up, they give you the commission up front.  For new webmasters especially, this is the one to go with.

Both Kiosk and HostGator use CPanel, which is the standard now for ultimate control, while remaining usable by the average webmaster or newbie.

Got Butterfly?

Filed under: Recommended ideas, Announcements — bobtheteacher @ 6:11 am

Butterfly Marketing proves to be more powerful in strategies than in the software itself. Below you will find a student and customer of the course.

Michael Cheney of “Adsense Videos” applied the pre-launch strategies and affiliate tools and JV strategies outlined in Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing Manuscript to make his launch.

Here is what Michael Cheney had to say about what he learned in the Manuscript.——————————————————

“Mike - first off I just want to say thank you so much!  The techniques I learned from Butterfly Marketing played a BIG part in helping me make $63,249 in sales in 24 hours!!

As I write this I’m still finding it hard to believe.  It seems a lifetime ago that the BFM package landed on my doorstep and I started poring over it with my smile getting larger and wider with each new insight as I realized that as long as I APPLIED what I was learning the principles were going to make something BIG happen!

Little did I know just HOW BIG it would be when I launched AdSense Videos…

AdSense Videos - 33 Hours After Launch..

The site went live. My life changed forever - seriously the results have been incredible Mike - we’ve grossed over $200,000 in 7 days!! The site got an Alexa ranking on Launch Day of 351!

AdSense Videos was ranked Number 1 on the ClickBank Marketplace in the Marketing category just 4 days after the Launch!

I’ve also been getting, on average, one new subscriber every minute of every hour for the past SIX AND A HALF DAYS!!!

So - What did I learn from you Mike and from ButterflyMarketing?  Where to start! I think one of the biggest things was the step-by-step approach. Everything I created for Affiliates, Joint Venture partners and for people going through the videos themselves has been step-by-step. I made everything as easy as I could and ‘muppet-proof’ as I like to call it!

I also realized that it’s paying attention to the smaller details BEFORE launch that really pay dividends AFTER the Launch. And BOY am I seeing that!

You gave some absolute gems of advice in Butterfly Marketing which have, without a shadow of a doubt, contributed in a big way to the overall success of AdSense Videos.

Thanks again!

Michael Cheney

SAVE with Affordable benefits

Filed under: About the Advertisers — bobtheteacher @ 6:25 pm

The newest Verb claimed at 500Verbs.com is SAVE, and you’ll be smiling your way to the dentist with the benefits offered by Kelli Strable of AmeriPlan USA.  One of the nation’s best known discount benefits plans, AmeriPlan Health puts decision making back into the hands of doctors and their patients.  In addition to dental, AmeriPlan’s U.S. members receive vision, presription, and chiropractic benefits for under $20/month.  Get all that with Medical, too, for under $60.

Thank you Kelli for sharing these great savings with everyone!

Do you like helping people?

Over at 500Verbs.com, our newest advertiser is Kelli Strable.  She grabbed the verb “Earn” for her business with health benefits, AmeriPlan USA.  A stay at home mom, Kelli’s excitement is contagious:

“I am so happy to have something that I can do, spending a little bit of phone time during the day, while the babies are napping, and a little bit of time online at night after they go to bed, knowing that I’m creating a future for my entire family!”

Kelli can help you find your freedom at home with a well-established company.

Two more word clouds have formed

Filed under: Announcements — bobtheteacher @ 4:32 pm

The weather forecast calls for two giant clouds forming over the eastern half of the U.S., followed by a rain of traffic throughout the internet.

Claiming your Thing To Do is great, but what if you want something different?  Now you can have your own Verb or your own Tourist destination.

At www.500Verbs.com, each singular keyword is a verb, a one-word call to action to your website.  In addition to the resulting traffic, you’ll find the staircase pricing to be set on number of words bought instead of by date.  So the early bird gets the worm!

The same applies to www.500tourists.com, a word cloud focusing on the travel industry.  Highlight your own city or travel-related business/affiliate program.

Prices for both word clouds start at $5 base price.  All advertisers will be focused on this blog as well.

Give your customers a face to trust

Filed under: About the Advertisers — bobtheteacher @ 10:29 pm

If you have an online business you are always looking for more ways to attract new visitors to your site, and turn them into paying customers. In addition to great copywriting, one way to accomplish this is through online video.

Video is the latest Thing To Do to be claimed.  MyVideoTalk is the destination, and you’ll learn about a business that puts easy video creation into the hands of everyday people — even if they have no real expertise with computers.  Video email, web meetings, and live feeds from your website are features of MyVideoTalk.  Another super-fine Thing To Do!

Price change in effect tonight at Midnight!

Filed under: Announcements — bobtheteacher @ 5:38 pm

Getting a Thing to Do makes great advertising sense — but it also makes great business sense to do it today!  As of midnight tonight, the base cost of the words goes up by $10.  Then the last four days of sale prices.

We’ve had great traffic so far, and it increases every day.  I hope to welcome your Thing to Do next!

Learn more about Texas Hold-em

Filed under: About the Advertisers — bobtheteacher @ 12:12 am

So you’ve got your five cards, and then…. no wait, how many cards is it again?  What’s a river card?

It looks so easy on ESPN2, but Texas Hold’em requires a lot of knowledge, strategy, and a dose of luck to win consistently.  Instead of trying to figure it all out on your own, the newest Thing To Do is to go to Texas Hold-Em school at Rush2Win.  Another great claim from our advertisers.

Which Thing To Do will you snatch up?

Do you Limu?

Filed under: About the Advertisers — bobtheteacher @ 6:27 am

Make 6 Figures is the keyword that will help you answer this question.  You’ll find Vitamark International on the other side, a well-established health and wellness nutritional company.  It’s flagship product, Limu Plus, is just one of dozens of nutritionals aimed to help you feel better and maintain a healthier lifestyle.  Vitamark is a popular network marketing company because of its compensation plan and quality of products.  Thanks, Wesley for bringing it to more people’s attention with your ad on 500ThingsToDo.com!

Do you like to Eat Beef Jerky?

Filed under: About the Advertisers — bobtheteacher @ 9:46 pm

I know I sure do.  For the last several months, I’ve enjoyed the great flavor and tenderness of Jerky Direct beef, turkey and buffalo jerky.

I’m certainly not alone though.  Our most recent advertiser is Wesley Jamison, who is also a Jerky Direct man.  He just picked up “Eat Beef Jerky” on 500ThingsToDo.com, and I’m sure this will be a very popular link.  Jerky Direct is different because it’s all natural, without the nasty chemical taste or bark like quality of regular brands in the store.

Thanks for picking up a great phrase, Wesley, and for sharing Jerky Direct with the rest of the U.S.
